I know all the obvious parts needed intake, carb, hei distributor, fuel pressure reg. Question is is the transmission going to operate correctly with just a throttle valve cable?

May 1, 2016 · Replace the TBI with a carb and try it before ditching the electronics. Leave everything plugged in the harness to satisfy the computer. Mount a TPS to the carb, a fuel pressure regulator and give it a try. Not much different from installing a propane mixer on a TBI engine and they run fine. Carbohydrates are soluble in water. All carbohydrates are considered sugars. Sugars are soluble in water due to the vast number of hydroxyl groups they contain.
