It goes like this, the battery has sufficient charge to energize the starter solenoid, but once the solenoid contacts close and power is supplied to the motor, voltage to the solenoid drops and the contacts open, removing power to the motor.^^^^ 800's are bad for rear cylinder problems of some sort or another and I believe that many of those problems revolve around the the carb issues.
