I did questions everyday and a week before the exam, I took the practice assessment. I got a low chance of passing. My overall performance was at a 47%, putting me in the 19th percentile. I did the PVT trick, good pop up, then purchased quick results and passed, so I find the PVT to be very accurate.Since the minimum number of questions you'll take on the NCLEX is 75, and the maximum is 145, this could happen at any point between those 2 numbers. Theoretically, the computer could know from your first 75 questions that you failed and stop giving you more, or it could know that you passed.The only difference was that the questions were much longer than the actual NCLEX. When I took the NCLEX exam the first time, I answered 75 questions and failed. I used ATI to study and that was the only study resource I used. The second time around I used ATI, Uworld, and listened to one Mark K ... The second time, I used what was left of my uworld subscription to redo some questions, and I purchased Princeton review. I finished half of the quizzes on each of the 8 client need subjects on Princeton Review with 60-80% on all quizzes. I also used the ATI books (my school utilized ATI). In October, I failed again in 145 questions :cI took like 5 or 6 of these practice exams. They cut-off around 62-64 questions and I got "pass-pass" every time. I reviewed these exams. I also prayed, a lot. especially after I got that bad pop-up. Tips: - Do NOT wait to study for the NCLEX after you graduate. Now, maybe I got enough questions right in CAT 2 to keep me above minimum passing. But, that just doesn't seem right.
