Events. Each year CGS hosts in-person and virtual events that bring together hundreds of leaders in the graduate education community. Our events give leaders the opportunity to learn about, discuss and address current trends and issues in graduate education. The Council of Graduate Students (CGS) is the authorized governing body for graduate students on the Missouri S&T campus. CGS maintains a positive relationship between the graduate student body, campus administration, and the local community.The council consists of a representative structure of elected members from the graduate student body. The GSC seeks to organize events such as academic seminars, workshops, and competitions to support scholarly activities as well as assist graduate students in their graduate and post-graduate work.Our Goal.
