Armscor ammo problems.

The Armscor .22 magnum ammunition, with their 40 grain jacketed hollow point is good ammunition, at a decent price. I purchased my brick of ammo at a final, before tax, cost of $13.75 per #50. Considering other brands of .22 magnum ammunition are up in the $17.00 to $20.00 range, this is quite a bit less for those of us who shoot a lot.In the instance here, the diameter and weight are correct for the .30 Carbine - but the bullet has the wrong profile. They can be made to work, but the bullet will have to be more deeply seated. This will create higher pressures - yet another problem. The only experience with Armscor ammo was when we shot a few boxes of 22tcm out of my friends 1911 22tcm. The ammo shot perfect and was well packaged. The 22tcm round I believe is a necked down 9mm and was fun to shoot. We were hitting an 8 inch steel at 100 yards with ease.Bought a case of Armscor about time this regime gained the throne..for $.04 a round.. Works great in every thing I own.. No problems, accurate but a bit smoky. All ammo must meet international specs.. thank goodness for that.. Pick up a 30-06 round made in WW1.. it will fit in the newest rifles with no problem.

22 TCM Failure to Extract. I recently bought a 22 TCM/9mm. There was no ammo available locally so the first time I shot it I shot 200 rounds of 9mm. It functioned perfectly using the installed extractor and changing to the 9mm barrel. This week I received the 22 TCM ammo that I had ordered.They made their decision and a video will be up soon as far as what happened with all of this. Some ammo distro companies actually are replacing rifles, as there are a known 17 as of now. ZSR - no statements. No replacements, no refunds.
