The injection spear was my first choice but this weapon seems awful for an alchemist. First, it's a martial weapon so I would be forced to take weapon proficiency at level 3. Second, the poison needs an interact action to be injected to the target, after the hit. This won’t help you with pathfinder 2e but I’ve been running a Conan 2d20 rpg and spears are great weapon choices. First it has reach because it’s longer than most weapons. It can be used 2 handed or 1 handed if you are strong enough. It has weapon qualities of piercing which is what it’s made for. Spear works as you can have a Trident as a backup ranged option. Most Dex martials probably want to have a good ranged backup option as well since that's one of the primary advantages of going Dex over Str (though you still need some strength) though most will just pick bow.Make a ranged spell attack roll against your target's AC.
