PacNor Barrels I have had several Pac Nor super matches and currently have one on my 308. They are great barrels and shoot with the best of them. (I have or have tried most of them)I had Pac Nors on my 6.5x284s and on a 260. I used the 3 grove for the 6.5s and they were all good shooters. Their customer service is top notch.A pre-fit barrel has to have the smallest threads allowed in the tolerance to make sure that it fits the smallest action in the tolerance. This makes for a loose fit in an action that has threads on the large side. Plenty of the barrel nut style barrels work out great, but having a good smith setup your barrel properly guarantees it.I've had really good luck with Shilen match barrels spun up by Mike Milli at Dedicated Technologies. Most have been in 223, but I had him do this barrel in 6 ARC. 20" medium contour, rifle length gas (.875 gas block), fluted and threaded. Turnaround was about 9 months, but worth the wait.
