Hi, all! I am relatively new to D&D and I use D&D Beyond Character Builder as a secondary Character Sheet, however my problem is regarding being able to choose an Oath in Character Builder. As you fellow Paladins and other Adventurers know, a Paladin is able to choose an Oath: Devotion, Ancients, Vengeance, and Crown, at lvl 3.

Ancients Paladin absolutely, Illithids are enemies of light, growth, and the natural world. Devotion is less cut and dried by their tenets, but the Illithid powers are still definitely themed "evil", and all the dialog actions that you need to take to get access to the powers would definitely be against your Oath.
