I have FIOS 50/50 internet, tv and phone for many years. Only coax runs to my attic and basement from ONT. Have Actiontec router and dual band wifi extender, 3 HD stb's and multiroom DVR. Extender is split configured at 5.0 communicating to devices and at 2.4 communicating with ActiontecThey say: "All you need is internet." But no, you have to go to the itunes store, create an account, give them a credit card, and download their free app. Which then only works (apparently) on an iphone or ipad.
