The stock carb jetted with jd jet kit is plenty with 3x3 mod. I don't see spending the extra money to buy a different carb. I 3x3 my box and jetted my carb with jd kit and put a full fmf on over a year ago and I have never had a problem. It's plenty of more power and

It must be hung on the spring or it got turned in too tight at some point and the o-ring is mashed and that may be gripping it.
