The M4 is a tank of a shotgun. Ultra reliable and not that bad in recoil. The 1301 is light as all get out but recoil is light. Like there is no way a shotgun that light should recoil this light. It was pretty reliable as well.One of the key differences is cost. M4 is generally a much more affordable option compared to S30V, and it is often the preferred choice for budget-minded knife owners.
