It allows you to set the frostbite status effect and it has bleed build up just like the moonveil katana.Moonveil has more range on it's specials compared to Uchigatana with it's standard Unsheath, but also costs more FP. Overall both weapons are great tbh. Despite all the hate that Moonveil gets, regular Uchigatana is basically on par with it. You need to have dedicated build for it to be good.Moonveil remains one of the better weapons in the game too. It's basically better than using actual spells 4 times out of 5.
