Wanted to show comparison between the new cvt oil and 40k cvt oil. left is new and right is old. truthfully, I believe it is best to change oil out every 30k after looking at the old oil. As the aforementioned member with the AT Temp light issues, I'm going to suggest you take your vehicle to the dealer, or to a Subaru-Only Specialty shop to be diagnosed. The shop you went to most likely drained the CVT fluid and then refilled it with diff fluid.Go to dealer, get both, redo oil change and I bet your problem goes away.
